High school has been filled with so many memories, more than I can count. My high school career has taught me so much such as the friendships that started way back in elementary school do not always last through high school, you always need time to yourself to relax and recuperate, and go and out do things with your family and friends as a opposed to staying home and watching Netflix. As a senior ,who is close to finishing up high school, I am eager to leave this school and begin my new journey but a part of me will still miss getting dressed up for school dances, homecoming week, and attending sporting events. Friday night lights and evening baseball games will probably be things I will miss the most about my school because of all the memories I have made with my friends. Homecoming week is also an event that I will cherish forever. From dressing up throughout the week, the powderpuff game on Thursday night, the big game on Friday night, and teepeeing after the football game. Heelan has graced me with a family that I will always come back to and I thank them for showing me what it means to be a good Catholic and treat my neighbor how I would want to be treated. I cannot wait to see where life takes my classmates and the success they will gain. I also want to thank all the teachers and faculty for caring so much about the students and wanting them to improve. Bishop Heelan has shaped me into the person I am today and will help me achieve great things later in life.
